Quick Step Pizza
Ingredients:
- 1 pre-made pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni or your favorite toppings (e.g., mushrooms, bell peppers, olives)
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
- Prepare the Crust: Roll out your pre-made pizza crust on a lightly floured surface or directly on a parchment-lined baking sheet. If using a pizza stone, place the rolled-out crust onto a pizza peel dusted with flour or cornmeal.
- Add Sauce: Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Add Toppings: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce. Add your chosen toppings and sprinkle with dried oregano and garlic powder.
- Bake: Brush the edges of the crust with a small amount of olive oil for a golden finish. Transfer the pizza to the oven (or pizza stone) and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Cool & Slice: Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice into wedges and enjoy!
